Halloween Mani

Halloween is only two days away! I needed a cute nail design for this occasion! A little ghost possessed my mind and gave me a fabulous idea, it kinda looks like Frankenstein! Perfect since Frankenstorm is out there in the world...

It's pretty simple to do, base coat, use lime green for all fingers but the ring; use hot pink and use a toothpick to make the jagged lines! After, add top coat and BAM! Your haunted nails are complete. Just a little something different than the traditional candy corn mani :) The brighter the base color, the more haunted it looks. In my opinion, glow-in-the-dark nail polish would also be a super intense and gorgeous look! Happy Halloween everyone! Eat lots of candy!

Nyan Cat Eyeshadow Tutorial

It's time to have fun with make-up! In this tutorial, you will learn how to do Nyan Cat on your eye! This is a great thing to do especially since it's almost Halloween! A cute funny design for everyone to see :) You will need pink, light blue, gray, red, orange, yellow, green, dark blue, and purple eyeshadow, mascara and eyeliner.
First, place the light blue eyeshadow to cover your eyelid and a bit under you eyebrow, creating a diagonal line.

Next, use your eyeliner to create Nyan Cat. Make his head, color it gray, then make a rectangle beside that.  Add a tiny tail behind him and three mini legs below him, two below his head, and one near the edge of the rectangle.

Now, add the face. Place two small dots for eyes and a "w" shaped figure for its mouth.

Time to add color! In his body, put pink in. Then carefully dab blue and purple in the center of the rectangle. Make sure you can still see pink surrounding the sprinkles.

Rainbow time! Take your red and make a thick line going down half your face. Add the orange and yellow along side that, making sure both are visible. As for the darker colors of the rainbow, make them slightly thinner and not as dark so they contrast well with the lighter colors.

  Finally add eyeliner. Use the cat-eye style and then add mascara. YAY! We have Nyan Cat!

Leopard/ Zebra Print Nail Tutorial

Get ready to learn how to make this totally cute, sassy, and intense leopard/ zebra print manicure! What you will need is a top coat, base coat, light pink, white, sparkly blue nail art (or any other sparkly nail art), black nail art, and orange nail art.
First, add your base coat ad the the light pink.

Then, create a sideways triangle in the center of the nail, facing inwards.

 Now take your black nail art and create a leopard print outline. Make mini circles and almost sandwich like figures without the middle.

 Use your orange nail art and place a color in the middle of each piece of black paint.

It's time for the zebra print!!! Take your black paint again and create lines and some with branches in the triangle like so:

Use your sparkly blue nail art to outline the triangle, but only on the nail, not the side by the cuticle.

 

Finally, put on a top coat to give your snazzy nails an extra shine and clean up any messes on the skin with nail polish remover. There you go! A fabulously gorgeous nail design that is so bold and creates a remarkable statement. Super intense!!!!

Rainbow Nails

Rainbows! Oh how I love them so! I did these simple nails in a jiffy! They are bold, bright, and gorgeous. Everyone who took a look at the mani loved the ring finger the best and I totally agree with them. These colorful nails are so easy and quick to do, just pick out the colors of the rainbow, put one color on each nail and half a color on you ring finger. Wait for it to dry then add the second. Finally add your top coat and viola! Rainbows have taken over your lovely little hand. Sweet! These colors will brighten your day and they match all of your wardrobe! Quick, simple, and cute. Happy Fall

Happy fall everyone! I know yesterday was the first day but, better late then ever! Time to get into the fall spirit by changing your wardrobe to warmer clothes and shopping for the season. All the sweet warm colors that are all here for this new season. A totally cute trend that is everywhere this season is colored/printed jeggings! Wear pants with totally outrageous designs, make a statement.  This trend isn't the only thing; moccasins! They are this season's hip shoes! When colored jeggings and moccasins come together they look absolutely gorgeous! Adding an anklet to the outfit wouldn't hurt :)

This is a totally adorable trend for everyone. Also, this fall's hair trend is waves. Just a little pointer ;) That's all for today! Until the next trendy time,

New Nail Trend!

There are so many popular nail designs and styles but this is one that is on the top of the list:

Painting all of your nails one color but the ring finger is different! It has to be colors with good contrast otherwise it doesn't look like there is much of a difference. Cool color combos. would be pink with blue-green (what I am wearing),  black and any neon color (personally I think hot pink and neon green work best), blue and orange, purple and silver, orange and yellow, red and gold (perfect for Christmas), and so on. The first color I stated in each combination would be the base and the second color is the ring finger. A couple of these would still look cool in reverse. Always put the color that pops the most on your ring finger.
 This is a cute simple nail style that is pretty trendy! Nice and easy for school. I bet a pale solid color would look awesome as a base with a bright sparkly color on the ring finger! I wonder how intense patterns would look for this nail style, that is something I will definitely try soon! :) That's all for today! Until next trendy post,

Back to School!

School is starting and summer break is ending :( Now there is another 10 months until the next summer break... sigh... Well, lets make the best of the school year with decorating our binders and notebooks! I love making little lanyards or creating something with friendship bracelet string to attach to my supplies.Using bright colors to decorate is awesome, I used duck tape on my binders too! Color-coating is my type of thing. ;) And all my friends would take a piece of duck tape and tape their mouths shut! Crazy!
  Almost everyone has their Back-to-School outfits planned, their hair, and even manicures! I am intending to wear ties this year. I already have a neon pink one with matching flats! *Neons are so not the fall colors but if you still wanna wear them, wear it with black!* It works! And most girls carry around a purse, I recommend smaller ones that go around your shoulder and have pockets. All you really need in your purse is what every girl needs, lip gloss, a mini mirror, a mini nail file, and a wallet. Some schools allow cell phones, others don't!
 And who doesn't love to decorate their locker?! I have a mini disco ball for mine! Plus pics from over the summer that make me laugh =D I might need more magnets! And a mirror, pink and zebra. A pretty locker is the way to go! Always have bright colors for those type of things! My locker has a lot of pink stuff in it! Target and Walmart have some pretty cool locker stuff and this cool website I found for lockers too: lockerlookz.com

Disco! Oh Yeah!
