No Heat Curls

During the summer, most people are in the water having a good time. Lot of girls love to straighten or curl their hair but it will get destroyed quickly plus using heat products over and over again damages the hair. My solution  for this is a no-heat curl that's called a ... sock curl! This curl is exactly how it sounds, it involves socks!!!! As crazy as it sounds, it works!
To do this, you need the following:
 -4 long socks
-water from a sink (go up to the sink, don't put the water separate bowl)
To do the curls you need completely dry hair. Blow drying is acceptable. Wet or partially wet hair will come out sloppy and frizzy. No one wants that in their hair! I speak from personal experience. My hair was up that day... ;) The socks will be worn over night. Since the socks are so soft, they will be nice to sleep on.
First, grab the top section of your hair.
Then, wet that section by running your fingers through it. Wet the entire section, not just the middle. The more water that gets used in the hair, causes a denser curl. Either soft or dense curls are absolutely gorgeous!
Now it's time for the part that might come across as weird. Putting the sock in! Simply place the sock at the end of the hair.
After the sock is on your hair, take the section and start rolling it up to your scalp. Don't roll it so tight that it hurts because that would not be fun to sleep on! Make sure that the ends of the socks are sticking out.

Now that the sock has been rolled up into the hair, take the ends of them and tie them together. It's ok if it ties slightly weird like mine did. The curl will come out just as pretty! You want this curl to look the best because it is on top.
Now take the left over hair and divide it into three sections: two fronts and a back.
After all the sections are made, repeat the previous steps that was done to the first section. Once all the sections are put into socks it should look like this.
Yeah it looks ridiculous but after a wonderful night of beauty sleep, your curls will be gorgeous! Now for some sleep...

Morning time! Rise and shine! Take your socks out one at a time and be gentle. Make sure that you aren't yanking your curls while unraveling them! Most of your curls will stay together and look like this:
To create a fluffy, curly look, you need to flip your hair so it covers your face and put your hand on your scalp, as shown below:
Shake your hand back and forth and move to another area, but always stay on the scalp. Now flip your hair back to its normal state and Tah-Dah! You have amazing, gorgeous curls! If desired, put hair gel in to keep the curls in place.
 And a little close-up!
Well, now you have gorgeous curls to last an entire day! More like, until you get into the water!Don't be afraid to add an accessory, like a headband or a flower or whatever you want! That's all for today! Remember, I am always open to hear new ideas! Email if wanted! Until the next time,
Be bold, bright, and gorgeous!
